Always ask your physician for medical advice before using TruNeb. Our customers have used their portable nebulizer machine for:
Asthma makes it harder to breathe because the airways become inflamed. It is often triggered by exercise, weather, or allergens. TruNeb™ is rated the best portable nebulizer for asthma.
COPD is a chronic lung disease most often related to years of smoking. Flare ups make breathing very difficult from wheezing, inflammation, and mucus.
Bronchitis causes swelling in the airways and a lingering cough that makes breathing feel heavy and tight. It can develop after catching a respiratory virus.
Allergies are a common annoyance for many people and can be seasonal or constant. Allergies can trigger immune responses and potentially cause airway irritation and wheezing.
Chest congestion occurs when the mucus membranes in the airways go into overdrive and produce excess secretions; it is generally caused by a virus and can be a side effect of other illnesses.
Pneumonia is an illness in which the small air sacs called alveoli in the lungs get infected and filled with fluid or pus. The airways also produce extra mucus, and it is often dark in color.
Croup is a common viral upper respiratory infection in younger children, causing swelling around the voicebox. The famous “barking” cough is characteristic of croup.
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a very contagious and common respiratory virus that hits young children the hardest. While mild cases manifest as cold symptoms.
While symptoms of COVID-19 can range from mild to severe, sometimes breathing difficulties and pneumonia can manifest. Your doctor may recommend nebulized medications to help relieve symptoms.
*Please note this is not an exhaustive list nor guarantee that your saline or medication treatment in the TruNeb will resolve these conditions. Consult your medical provider before nebulizing any substance.

A portable nebulizer is a compact, handheld device that turns liquid medication or saline into a fine mist you can breathe in through a mask or mouthpiece. It doesn’t require a bulky air compressor or tubing like standard jet nebulizers. It’s also noise-free. Learn more about nebulizers and other respiratory topics in the TruNeb blog.
We don’t take insurance at this time, but you can purchase our nebulizer and saline with an FSA or HSA card.
Yes. Our neb can be used for all ages, and young children often do better with the TruNeb Portable Nebulizer because it doesn’t make noise.
Always run 3-6 ml of distilled water through the device after each treatment to prevent the mesh from getting clogged. Depending on how often the nebulizer is used and how it is cared for, the mesh nozzle may need to be replaced every 1-3 months for best performance. You can set up automatic shipment for savings, or just order a new nozzle as needed. Additional accessories are available for purchase.
Our nebulizer can handle most common respiratory medications. Highly viscous meds like Pulmozyme, tobramycin, Mucomyst, or Colistin are not recommended. Suspension medications like budesonide have larger particles that could potentially clog the mesh, so make sure to nebulize 3-6 ml of distilled water after every treatment. Always nebulize one medication at a time.
Yes. If you’re not completely satisfied with your nebulizer, we offer a 30-day money back guarantee.
Yes, we sell nebulizer saline manufactured in an FDA-approved lab. Get it here.
Yes, the TruNeb Portable Nebulizer is FDA approved.
Many of our customers have replaced their traditional jet nebulizer (the one with an air compressor and tubing) with our portable mesh nebulizer. We still recommend bringing a rescue inhaler as a backup when traveling just in case, since they don’t rely on electronics.
