Best Croup Treatment Solution

Nebulizer treatment for croup can be intimidating to use, especially for children. Most nebulizers are big, bulky noisy machines. But our device is small and quiet, making them feel more comfortable when they use it. The TruNeb™ can be used with either a mouthpiece or mask for maximum convenience.

Nebulizer Treatment for Croup

Croup is a common respiratory illness that occurs in children ages 6 months through three years, with most cases seen in one year olds.

Compared to other nebulizers, the TruNeb™ is perfect for this age group because the mask comes in a child size and there’s also the option to just use a mouthpiece. Traditional nebulizers are bulky and too big for children to use comfortably.

If your child has croup and you’re looking for a nebulizer machine for croup, we can help! Our portable, pocket size machine can give them instant relief, even on the go.

Frequently Asked Question

No. You don’t need a prescription to purchase our nebulizers. However, you will need a prescription for the actual medication from your doctor.

The TruNeb™ turns your liquid medication into a mist that you breathe in. The misted medication will get into your lungs to help relieve any respiratory symptoms that your child is experiencing from croup.

Any medications that can nebulize in a traditional jet nebulizer can also be nebulized with our device. Be sure to talk to your child’s doctor if you have specific questions regarding their croup medication and treatment options.

Follow these steps to clean and disinfect your nebulizer. You should clean it right after you use it.

  1. Remove the mouthpiece and any accessories.
  2. Add 6ml of distilled water to the medicine chamber.
  3. Run a full cycle through the nebulizer.
  4. Shake out any remaining drops and allow the nebulizer to air dry.

Disinfect your nebulizer by following the first four steps but add 2 to 3 drops of white vinegar and run a full cycle. After this solution is nebulized, run one more cycle of just distilled water. Wipe out the medicine cup with distilled water to ensure there is no vinegar residue left over.

Yes. If you’re not completely satisfied with your nebulizer, you can get your money back. We offer a 30 day money back guarantee for the device.

Christopher B. Seda
“My two year old had a bad case of croup this year and nothing was helping her. We finally found this one after searching around forever for a nebulizer that would work for her. This one is perfect. She doesn’t resist using it like she has with others and it helps her breathe better. Very grateful for this little nebulizer!”

Sally D. Posey
“We unfortunately don’t have insurance and didn’t want to spend a couple hundred dollars on a regular nebulizer setup as it seemed outrageous. After doing a little searching, I found the TruNeb and was happy with the price and free shipping. So glad I found this ultrasonic nebulizer!”

Margaret W. Maggi
“We have dealt with croup with all four of our children but the worst was our fourth. Nothing was working for him and the nebulizer we had on hand was too big and he’d scream every time we tried to get him to use it. FINALLY we found this portable nebulizer and he doesn’t mind it at all! Our whole family is feeling so much better after finally getting some relief for him.”

Darrell K. Blumberg
“I bought this for my poor 3 year-old that suffers from reactive airway disease. It’s hard to get him to sit through a regular nebulizer treatment as I’m sure he hates the sound. He loves this one! If you have young kids, this is the perfect solution.”

Gladys J. Jones
“I’ve tried a variety of nebulizers over the years as an Asthma sufferer. Let me tell you, it is truly a pain to bring around a regular neb so an inhaler has been my only option (which I don’t like). I was really excited to try this product out. It’s a game changer! The treatment only takes 5 minutes and there’s not a bunch of annoying parts. Five stars across the board.”

Edwin A. Astudillo
“I am feeling happy and relieved I bought this machine for my 4 year-old for his croup symptoms. He is much better with this than his old nebulizer. Thank you Truneb!”
